Most people come to us asking about one thing, like their lips or their cheeks or a chin that disappears in photos, and sometimes that one thing really is the answer. But a lot of the time what you're noticing is the proportions of your whole face being slightly off, and fixing only that one spot can make it more noticeable instead of less. Lips that look overdone are usually sitting above a chin that can't support them, and a hollow under the eye is usually a cheek that has lost its volume.

So we step back and look at the whole face first, from the front and from the side, and we go in a specific order. Cheeks and midface come first because they're the foundation that holds everything else up. The chin and jawline come next because they set your profile. Then we size the lips to fit the face instead of fitting a trend, soften whatever folds are left, and use Botox for the forehead and frown lines so the top of your face reads open and rested. We often stage it over two visits a few weeks apart, because the first areas settle and change what the next ones need, and that's how you end up looking like yourself on a really good day instead of looking like you had something done.
